GRID ZERO: Your Competitive Advantage in the
Free Energy Market
What is Grid Zero Technology?
Grid Zero technology is an autonomous solar system that produces and consumes energy on-site. Without injecting surpluses into the grid, it ensures savings, efficiency and greater energy independence.
Cost Reduction with ACL Suppliers
The Grid Zero Photovoltaic system allows your company to reduce costs of contracts with suppliers in the Free Energy Market, through the installation of generators that meet part of the energy demand.
This is possible because the system operates autonomously in relation to the electrical grid and offers interactive control to manage consumption and energy loads simultaneously.
Why is Grid Zero the Ideal Solution for Your Company?
MAXIMISATION OF SAVINGS IN THE FREE CONTRACTING ENVIRONMENT
In the competitive Free Energy Market (ACL), every decision impacts your results. Grid Zero technology goes beyond a solution; it is the smartest strategy to optimise your energy contract, significantly reduce costs and, as a bonus, improve your environmental footprint.

Frequently Asked Questions about Grid Zero
The quickest answers to your questions about Grid Zero technology and the Free Energy Market.
The Grid Zero system, due to its characteristic of not injecting energy into the grid, generally does not qualify as micro or mini distributed generation and, therefore, is not subject to the provisions of Regulatory Resolution 1.059/2023. It is a self-consumption solution that operates in parallel with the electrical grid, without exporting surpluses. However, communication or approval with the local distributor may be required to ensure technical and regulatory compliance.
Distributed Generation (DG) injects surplus energy into the concessionaire's grid, generating credits that can be used to offset future consumption (net metering). Grid Zero, on the other hand, is a 'no injection' system: it consumes all the energy it produces on-site, never injecting into the grid. The main benefit of Grid Zero is the reduction of TUSD costs and optimisation of ACL contracts.
Yes. The Grid Zero solution is ideal for companies connected in medium or high voltage (Group A) that are already in or plan to migrate to the Free Contracting Environment (ACL). Since January 2024, there is no longer a minimum consumption requirement for this migration, which expands access for companies of various sizes. The system adapts to various types of roofs and structures, being especially advantageous for industries, large commercial buildings and other high energy demand consumers.
Companies in the ACL can use Grid Zero to generate part of their energy, reducing the contracted demand with their suppliers. This allows for more advantageous contract negotiations and greater protection against energy price volatility in the free market, maximising the company's financial savings.
